Wall mounting
With a beautiful tapestry, you can give your home colour, personality and body all at once. Of course, you want a work of art to really make a statement in your interior. Not only the place where the tapestry is hung is important; the way the tapestry is attached to the wall is too. Read more about attaching your tapestry below.
Preparation
Buying a tapestry is of course the very first step. Urban Cotton has a wide range of designs! Once your choice is made, it’s time to choose a nice spot and hang the tapestry. If you want a tight tapestry without folds, it is possible to iron the tapestry. This is best done at the back and with lots of steam. Ironing at the front is also possible, but put a piece of cotton or linen on the tapestry for protection. The temperature of the iron does not have to be set to maximum. Then choose a nice place to hang the tapestry, where it will look its best.
Tapestry on a Rod
With different wall systems, you can highlight your interior style. Hang your tapestry on a rod for a casual look that suits an organic and natural interior. The Curve is a system with two hooks that you attach to the wall. After attaching the Curve hooks, you slide the rod into the opening of the hooks. This creates a clean and sleek look. The Hooked is a system where you attach two hooks to the wall. You then simply slide in the rod. The Hooked gives you an urban look.
Tapestry in a Frame
Choose a frame to present your tapestry sleek and clean. The stand-up frame allows the cloth to fall nicely into it and creates a timeless look.
